Bearcats Win Game 1

A late third period goal from Jason McMillan was the difference as the Thunder Bay Bearcats skated away with a 3-2 win over the Dryden Ice Dogs Friday night in the SIJHL.
Nicolas Doiron opened the scoring for Dryden early in the first period before the Bearcats answered with 2 straight.
Liam Walker tied the game in the second before McMillan’s winner.
The Bearcats peppered 44 shots on Grahame Harrington while the Ice Dogs responed with 32.
Game 2 between Dryden and Thunder Bay is set for Saturday afternoon at 12:30 CST.
CKDR will have the call starting at 12:15.
