Beardy Funeral

The funeral for a promising goalie and the son of Nishnawbe-Aski Grand Chief Stan Beardy was held yesterday at Muskrat Dam First Nation.
19-year-old Daniel Beardy died last weekend after he was found unconscious and suffering from critical injuries at a Fort William First Nation home.
23-year-old Corey Wesley has been charged with manslaughter in relation to the incident.
Wesley was to represent the region at an Economic Conference in the Far East before he turned himself into Police.
He will appear in Court today for a bail hearing.
