A committment to call for the reinstatement of the spring bear hunt is being welcomed by a local tourist outfitter.
Chair of the nuisance bear panel, Fort Frances Mayor Glenn Witherspoon has made it clear that as far as he is concerned, bringing back the hunt is the best way to deal with problem bruins.
