The President of the Metis Nation of Ontario is going to
be attending the local council’s general meeting tonight
at the Travel Lodge.
Kenora Metis Council Spokesperson Barb Parker says
they’re fortunate to have Belcourt speak at their meeting.

Parker says Belcourt happened to be travelling through,
so they decided to have the meeting coincide with his
visit.
Other speakers include Chair Gary Lipinsky, and Vice
Chair France Picotte.
