Problem has been apparently fixed. Still no comment on the cause of the problem from Bell.
Bell Canada hasn’t been able to comment on a telephone outage in the Dryden area.
CKDR News has received several reports of telephone service being out in Eagle River, Minnitaki and other rural areas.
Reports say the outage occured yesterday and service has been out for roughly 17-hours.
One Bell technician confirms there is a problem with land-lines, but wouldn’t offer further comment.
A message has been left with Media Affairs for Bell.
