Bell Let’s Talk Day

It’s a simple but powerful campaign to end the stigma surrounding mental illness and start some conversations about that difficult topic.
Wednesday is Bell Let’s Talk, in which Bell will donate five cents to support mental health initiatives across Canada for every text, mobile call, and long distance call made by Bell and Bell Aliant customers.
You can tweet using #BellLetsTalk and donations will also go to every Facebook share of the Bell Let’s Talk image.
Many people will be sharing their personal experiences and how their lives have been effected by mental illness on Twitter using the hashtag.
The message of the campaign is simple: reach out, do not suffer in silence, because help is available.
The company has set aside $67.5-million to support hundreds of mental health initiatives in Canada.
Last year, the initiative raised more than $5-million.
Bell is also reaffirming its long term presence in Dryden with a new store opening today in the Sunset Strip Plaza.
