A fan favourite is back in Dryden.
The Ice Dogs have acquired Ben Hackl from the Dauphin Kings, meaning the 20-year-old forward will end his junior hockey career in his hometown.
Hackl played in 40 games with the Kings last season and recorded 4 goals, 16 assists, 20 points and 59 penalty minutes.
He previously played 5 games with Dryden GM and amassed 3 points in 5 games.
