Nearly 40-people took an opportunity to find out how to give their
children a leg up when it comes to early education opportunities.
A public meeting was held in Dryden Monday to discuss details of
the Best Start program.
The plan gives parents an alternative to ferrying their children
between school and daycare in order to provide a steady learning
environment for senior and junior kindergarten students.
Coordinator Barb Buffett says the program is hoping to start in
Dryden at St. Joseph’s School next year while New Prospect hopes to begin
the Best Start plan in Fall 2007.
