The Rainy River District School Board is working with the province to develop a long term strategy to benefit to young children as they start life and school.
Assistant Superintendent Linda Hill notes the “Best Start Strategy” is community driven with an emphasis on families and children.

The public school board is partnering with the Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board to help develop the program.
Phase one will be developed in 4 to 5 years with the entire strategy taking up to 10 years to implement.
