Big 2013 For Dryden Library

Business is booming at the Dryden Public Library.
The facility is out with its 2013 final report and during an average week 1,900 visitors walked through the doors.
Chair Kim Vares says 86-programs were held last year with 1,309 people participating.
New programs for this year include the Lego club, a one-on-one computer help session for seniors as well as the PACE Kids after school program.
The library managed to circulate 66,267 items.
An average of 154-people used the library’s public access computers each week.
Vares notes e-book and audio book title circulation is also on the rise.
She says the success of the library can be accredited to the staff and their creative thinking.
