The English River Miners struggles in Dryden continue.
The Miners dropped their 12th straight at the Memorial Arena Friday, falling 4-1.
Jacen Bracko, Eric Stout and Brendan Jay scored in the third period to put the game away.
Trey Palermo opened the scoring for Dryden GM.
Brody Jennings scored on a powerplay in the third to ruin Landon Pavlisin’s shutout.
He finished with 32-saves.
Dryden GM peppered 47-shots, including 26 on the powerplay, on Westin Cardwell.
The Ice Dogs are now 8-points back of first place and they will host the Fort Frances Lakers Saturday night at 7:30.
The Miners dropped eight back of third place Thunder Bay after the North Stars defeated Minnesota 5-2.
