A tremendous weight has been lifted from the shoulders of the Dryden Eagle Junior Boys Basketball team.
The Boys earned their first win of the NORWOSSA season Tuesday afternoon, 42-35 over the Kenora Broncos.
Coach Paul Darling says they showed a lot of hustle.
Josh Reid lit it up for Dryden, scoring 20-points.
That was the Junior Boys first win in over 3-years.
The Senior Boys weren’t as successful, losing 46-29 to Kenora.
Coach Duncan Wilkenson says a tough second quarter hurt his squad.
Jared MacKinnon was Dryden’s leading scorer with 10-points.
