Bill Baxter Fined

The former Chief of the Atikokan Police Force has been slapped with a
$1,500 fine.
Bill Baxter was charged after pleading guilty to 1-count of fraud
under $5,000.
During a 1-year period, Baxter made personal purchases totalling
$1,500 on the Police Department credit card.
He has since repaid the Town of Atikokan and seeking counselling for
depression.
Baxter will not have a criminal record.
