Former Ontario Cabinet Minister Bill Mauro believes Kathleen Wynne’s pre-election announcement conceding defeat hurt his and others chances of winning the provincial election.
Mauro was unseated by Judith Monteith-Farrell in Thunder Bay-Atikokan.
The Liberal says Wynne sent out mixed messages, suggesting she was throwing in the towel.
When asked about a possible run now at municipal politics, Mauro stated he’s not in a position right now to decide.
Mauro notes he will give the idea some consideration.
There is no word yet whether or not the Liberals will ask for a recount.
