The first ever Canadian conference focusing on the country’s emerging bio-economy gets underway Monday in Thunder Bay.
About 150 delegates from across Canada, U.S. and Japan are participating.
The Canadian Bioenergy Association’s Christopher Rees says it’s aimed at trying to grow the industry.
The conference will include a visit to Ontario Power Generation’s recently converted biomass-powered plant in Atikokan.
