Black Bear Attack in Ear Falls

A scary moment for a Minnesota man who was visiting the Ear Falls area.
OPP say the tourist was attacked by a black bear on Thursday after he stopped along Highway 105 to videotape the animal.
Police say the victim got 6 metres within the bear when it charged and began to maul the man before some witnesses scared it away.
The 39-year-old was treated for numerous puncture wounds and scratches.
The bear was located and destroyed after it charged an OPP officer.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is testing the remains of the animal for rabies.
