Blaikie looks for NDP breakthrough

It could be another year or so before Canadians go to the polls again for a federal election.

One had been widely expected this spring, but political
observers suggest it could be put on hold until 2009.

Bill Blaikie is the longest serving member of the NDP and
suggests his party is ready to make a break through with voters, when the election is held.

N003 Q: …transforming that. (21 secs.)

Blaikie was in Kenora this week to meet with NDP party members.

Blaikie confirms that he won’t be running in the next election.
