The local detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police
have released the names of the people charged after last
week’s protest on the Kenora by-pass.
Police charged five people hailing from the greater
Toronto area with mischief, and a Thunder Bay Woman, their
ages range from 18 to 33.
Three more people were charged with mischief & other
related offences.
35 year old Richard Crawford of Six Nations First Nation
has been charged with breach of recognizance, 28 year old
Oshweken resident Shawn Anderson is charged with breach of
probation, and 43 year old Geri Gray of Kettle Point was
charged with assault.
All the people charged are scheduled to appear in Kenora
Court September 18th.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
