A blockade at the Grassy Narrows First Nation won’t be coming down anytime soon.
Joe Fobister is the Spokesperson for the blockade, and says they’ll step down once all issues are resolved.
A memorandum of understanding was signed yesterday between the First Nation and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Fobister says talks between the government and first nation could take years and once they wrap up discussion they’ll dismantle their barracades.
