Blockades Removed Near Attawapiskat

Access to a De Beers diamond mine outside the northern community of Attawapiskat has been reopened after protesters ended their blockade of a connecting road.
Police say demonstrators voluntarily complied with a Superior Court order calling for an end to the disruption, which began
earlier this month.
They say officers will remain in the area to ensure the safety of those using the mining road.
