“Everyone deserves the chance to enjoy the beauty of nature. β˜€οΈπŸŒŠ
That’s why Blue Lake Provincial Park has introduced mobility water chairs and Mobi-Mats, designed to make the waterfront accessible to visitors with mobility challenges.
🦽 Mobility Water Chairs allow guests to float comfortably and safely in the water, providing a relaxing way to experience the lake.
πŸ›£οΈ Mobi-Mats create a stable pathway over the sand, making it easier for individuals using wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers to reach the water’s edge.
Whether you want to soak up the sun, dip your feet in the lake, or take a refreshing swim, these features help ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the park’s natural beauty.
πŸ“ž If you are interested in using one of our mobility water chairs: please call (807) 227-2601 or visit our gatehouse, and we will set one aside for you. These chairs are free of charge, but as they are fist come, first served, we recommend calling ahead to ensure availability.
Blue Lake Provincial Park has two Mobi-Mat locations! One Mobi-Mat is already in place, stretching from the main road near the amphitheatre to the water. Our second Mobi-Mat will be installed this week by the main playground at the day use parking lot, stretching down to the water. Both will be maintained from now until the fall.
