Blueberry Bert is Back

Blueberry Bert has come out of hibernation and is ready to celebrate the 29th Annual Sioux Lookout Blueberry Festival.
The 10-day event starts at 3:30 this afternoon (Friday) with the opening ceremonies at Town Beach.
A steak barbecue with live entertainment will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion.
Some of the feature events this year include the Classic Car and Motorcycle Show and Shine, Firefighter’s Annual Blueberry Social, Children’s Festival, Mixed Slo-Pitch Tournament,
Dodgeball Tournament, Rubber Duck Race, Dog Parade, Curbside Grill, Trade Show, Teddy Bear Picnic, 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament and CN “Blueberry Express” Train Rides and Family Day.
