Board Working on Amalgamation Plan

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board says it doesn’t expect any changes to the way schools in Pickle Lake, Savant Lake and Upsala operate in the fall.
The 3-schools are going to be amalgamated with the public school board.
Director of Education Larry Hope says they plan to meet with staff from all three schools before the end of the month.
The Board says the Ministry of Education has promised it will cover all the costs associated with the amalgamation process.
