Boat Hits Reef on Lake of the Woods

It didn’t take long for a Kenora couple to break in their new 16-foot Lund boat.
The couple were out on Lake of the Woods in the area of Devils Gap when they ran the boat into a reef.
OPP say a woman was thrown towards the front of the vessel and she received a large cut to her head.
She was transported to hospital for treatment.
The boat and motor were damaged in the crash.
