A one-of-a-kind event will be coming to the Red Lake Winter Carnival.
“Bob Boating” will be taking place on Howey Bay on Saturday and entry is $20 per team.
Organizer Robert Partridge says two fishing boats have been converted into a sled to sail across the ice.
Races will start at 10:00am and there is a maximum of 5 members per team.
Partridge calls it a historic event, noting he isn’t aware of any such race held in the world.
