No rest for newly elected Members of Parliament.
Bob Nault is getting ready to take over as the MP for Kenora and says one of his priorities is getting his constituency offices properly staffed.
Then he says it’s off to Ottawa for his swearing in on November 4th
Nault is expecting a smooth transition as he’s been in that seat before.
He says his experience will allow him to get right down to business and concentrate on his campaign promises.
Nault admits election night itself was a roller coaster ride of emotions, as he didn’t know until the early morning hours of Tuesday that he had actually won the Kenora Riding.
Nault says one of his first priorities will be getting the Trans-Canada Highway twinned between Kenora and the Manitoba boundary.
