Bob Rae Addresses Forestry Sector

Federal Interim Liberal Leader Bob Rae says there’s still major challenges facing the forest sector.
Speaking in Dryden, Rae stressed new opportunities are available in the industry and the government must do more to foster potential growth.
Rae says the Feds have cut back on forestry research and notes more attention must be put on new products and product development.
He notes we should be doing everying in our power to encourage export diversification.
He stresses the Asian market is a prime target.
Rae adds that aboriginals must be more involved in the forest industry.
