Bob Rae Wants To See A Closer Relationship

It’s time to forge a relationship with First Nations.
That’s the main message being delivered by Federal Interim Liberal Leader Bob Rae.
Rae met with former national chief Phil Fontaine in Winnipeg today.
Rae says the country needs a change of thinking right now, and that we need to break down the barriers.
He says everyone is in this together, and it’s going to take a change of heart on every side to bring everyone together more effectively.
Rae adds it’s important for the Federal Government to work with the Provinces and First Nations on issues impacting aboriginals.
