Bob Stevens Back As Hospital Chair

The Dryden Regional Health Centre Board of Directors has a new Chair.
Doug Robinson stepped down last night due to personal commitments.
Bob Stevens has been elected as he ran unopposed.
Stevens will only serve one year of a four term as he’s allowing a smooth transition for in-coming Chair Karen Seeley.
Stevens has previously served as Chair.
As far as issues of concern for the Hospital, Stevens says funding is the biggest one.
He notes the Province is really slow at telling them how much money they will be receive and they are now in a holding pattern.
Stevens says the Hospital is in better financial shape than other facilities and they are ready to take on whatever the Province throws at them.
He says he doesn’t see any severe or drastic changes.
Stevens says the Board is also concerned about executive compensation.
