Body Of Dryden Man Found Near Jumping Lake

Provincial Police say foul play is not suspected in the death of a Dryden man who was found near Jumping Lake, south of Savant Lake.
Officers were dispatched on March 23rd and learned that the man had left for his trapline on March 15th.
He had planned on staying in the area for about a month.
Police found the deceased in deep snow, near a stuck snowmobile where he was breaking trail to get to his cabin.
A dog was also found at the scene that was hungry but healthy.
Police say the man has been identified as 43-year-old Derrick Lancaster.
Autopsy results are pending.
