Body Pulled from River Identified

Webequie First Nation is searching for closure after a body found in the Kaministiquia River was confirmed to be that of a young band member who had been missing for months.
Police have confirmed they found the body of 15-year-old Jordan Wabasse, who was staying in Thunder Bay to
attend school.
He had been missing since February 7th.
A post-mortem showed that the cause of death was drowning.
Boaters found the body in the Kaministiquia on Tuesday night
after volunteers and police scoured the banks and the river for three months.
“We have to deal with the circumstances now,” Webequie Chief
Cornelius Wabasse said Wednesday night.
