Boil Water Advisory Finally Lifted In Shoal Lake #40

A 24 year long boil water advisory has been lifted on Shoal Lake #40 First Nation.

A $33 million water treatment plant officially opened Wednesday.

Indigenous Affairs Minister Marc Miller was on hand for the ceremony.

The opening of the station comes one week after a new kindergarten to grade eight school opened in the community at a cost of $17 million.
