Most of the Town of Fort Frances is under a boil water advisory.
According to the Northwestern Health Unit, all residents east of Keating Avenue and Kings Highway are being urged to boil their water for at least one minute before consumption.
Town operations manager Doug Brown says maintenance work at the water tower caused a drop in water pressure this morning prompting the advisory.
The notice will be in place for several days since the health unit must now send out water samples for lab testing.
