Boil Water Advisory in Atikokan

Upgrades to the Atikokan Water Treatment Plant are finally underway.
As a precaution, a boil water advisory will be in place until early July.
The project is intended to increase the contact time with chlorine, improving the quality of water in the process.
Residents are urged to boil their water for one minute prior to consumption.
Low water pressure is also likely while the work is being done.
