A ‘boil water’ advisory remains in place for the town of Red Lake.
Red Lake Public Works advised CKDR at 5:10 pm (Friday, March 6) that the advisory was necessary because of a water main break.
The advisory applies to Red Lake only, and does not include Balmertown or Cochenour.
Water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least 5 minutes before drinking or using to brush your teeth.
The advisory will be in effect until further notice.
