Boil Water Advisory Lifted in Red Lake Area

It’s been a nearly 5-year wait, but the water has never tasted sweeter!!
Upgrades to the Red Lake Water Treatment Plant are finally complete
resulting in the lifting of a lengthy boil water advisory.
Everyone in Cochenour, McKenzie Island and Balmertown that draw their
water from the Red Lake Distribition system no longer have to boil their
water.
Consecutive testing has determined the water supply is completely
bacteria free.
