Boil Water Advisory Likely In Place For A Week

A malfunctioning valve at the Water Treatment Plant is to blame for a boil water advisory in Dryden.
Waterworks Manager Dean Walker says an inspection team is scheduled to look at the problem Friday morning.
Walker says the notice was put in place as a precautionary measure.
Walker says they are bringing in a remote submarine with a camera to inspect the valve to see what its condition is.
He adds they have divers on standby.
Walker says the water is still being filtered, disinfected and tested and no problems have been detected.
The boil water advisory is expected to remain in place until Thursday, December 26th.
