Boil Water-Kenora

The Northwestern Health Unit will be providing an update on a boil water advisory for about two thousand residents in the City of Kenora this morning.

The boil water advisory was put in place late Friday afternoon after evidence of coliform bacteria was discovered during routine testing.

Residents living in the south side of Kenora have been told to boil their water for at least one minute, before consuming it as a precaution.

Testing has been carried out over the weekend to try and
determine the source of the contamination.
