Boise invests in Fall’s Mill #1 (FF note)

Boise Cascade in International Falls is making a major investment in their future.

Spokesperson Bob Anderson said they are purchasing a new
six million dollar digester which takes wood chips and turns them into pulp.

Anderson says the investment was imperative to keep up with the times…

Anderson added they are hoping to have the new digester up and running by the first week of December.

He noted the addition will help the Fall’s Mill produce 30 tons of pulp each day, which means they will get more wood chips from the Abitibi mill in Fort Frances.
