Bombardier Deal in Place?

A deal to have more than 200 new streetcars for Toronto built at Bombardier in Thunder Bay may have hit another roadblock.
Premier Dalton McGuinty and Toronto Mayor David Miller are in the Lakehead Friday to make an announcement about the contract.
But today’s Globe and Mail says Ottawa is refusing to give Toronto $400-million in stimulus money to help seal the
deal.
Federal Infrastructure Minister John Baird says the contract doesn’t meet the criteria for federal stimulus money.
