Close to 900 Unifor members are on strike at Thunder Bay’s Bombardier Plant.
The union set a strike deadline of 2 p.m. today if the union and company couldn’t reach a deal.
Local Unifor President Dominic Pasqualino says he’s upset that they’re striking.
Pasqualino says there is over 3 billion dollars worth of work in the plant right now.
He says he knows that there should be more work coming on board because Kathleen Wynne just signed 29 billion dollars for transit and transportation needs.
He adds he is unsure of how long the strike will last.
