Some business owners in Dryden say they are seeing fewer American tourists walking through their doors, however visitor traffic was up almost 6% for the month of May at the Fort Frances crossing.
Canada Customs Spokesman Greg Mercure says increase appears to be a long-term trend.
Mercure says more than 38,000 vehicles crossed the border at Fort Frances in May carrying over 92,000 people.
He adds visitor numbers are down at other crossings in Ontario.
