Boreal Forest Conference

The Boreal Forest in Northwestern Ontario is under the microscope today at the Ontario Professional Foresters Association Conference in Thunder Bay.
Organizer Dr. Reino Pulkki says the 150 delegates will examine the economic, social and environmental issues behind the Boreal as well as general forestry issues.
Natural Resources Minister David Ramsay will be on hand to discuss wood rights and forest management plans.
Taking advantage of value-added material will also be examined.
