Bottle Drive At Local Beer Stores

Talk about perfect timing, especially after the May long weekend.
Folks are encouraged to drop off their empty beer, wine and liquor bottles to any Beer Store between May 25th and 26th, which will go to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
Senior Director Lorna Warwick says 100% of proceeds will go to blood cancer research and for people who are currently going through treatment.
Warwick says you can donate any other time as well and just specify at the counter that you want the proceeds to go to the society.
The goal this year is to raise 1-million-dollars.
