The bow hunt for deer in the City of Kenora will be brought back again this fall.
Feedback from the inaugural hunt last year was all positive.
Councillor Sharon Smith says they are making some small changes in order to expand hunting opportunities.
The bow hunt season in city limits will be expanded to the end of deer hunting season, December 15th.
Smith says that’s about the only thing they can do to try and curb deer numbers.
She notes the Ministry of Natural Resources is not allowing them to conduct a cull.
Dryden still hasn’t made a decision on what it plans on doing to solve a growing deer population.
