Brakes Put On Driving Tests

The Ontario government is cancelling all in-vehicle driving tests starting Saturday.

Passenger tests in northern Ontario will be allowed to resume January 9.

Road test cancellations are without penalty and DriveTest clients will receive a credit in order to rebook their test when things reopen.

DriveTest centres will remain open for essential services including knowledge tests, with capacity limits and COVID-19 preventative measures in place.

Commercial road testing and other commercial vehicle services will continue to be offered.
