Thunder Bay North Stars goalie Brandon Bodnar has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.
In four starts last week, the 20-year-old from Fort Frances won all of them helping Thunder Bay extended their winning streak to ten.
For the week, Bodnar registered a 1.75 goals-against average along with a stingy .947 save percentage.
He also recorded his league best fourth shutout against Dryden GM.
Bodnar has now won his past seven starts and presently paces all SIJHL netminders in wins with 16.
Matthew Pitchenese of the Ice Dogs and Brody Jennings of the English River Miners also received consideration.
