Breaking The Barrier

Time for some ‘GOOD NEWS’!!
A British Paralympian and orthopaedic surgeon has been cleared for takeoff to the International Space Station as the world’s first disabled astronaut!
John McFall McFall took up running after losing his right leg in a motorbike accident at the age of 19. After the accident John went on to win multiple medals for Great Britain in sprint events.
John was one of over 22-thousand applicants for the European Space Agency’s first class of astronauts in 13 years. McFall has been given the green light to undertake a six-month mission to the International Space Station. “I feel hugely proud,” said McFall. “But this isn’t about me – this is way bigger than that. This is a cultural shift.”
And that’s……GOOD NEWS!!
