The Dryden Eagles came out on the short end of a classic Junior Boys Volleyball Final.
After trading blows for some two hours, the Beaver Brae Broncos finally survived the last punch to win the NorWOSSA title in five sets Tuesday afternoon.
Dryden took the first game 25-16, but the Broncos struck back with wins of 25-22 and 25-23.
The Eagles rebounded with a 25-20 victory in the fourth set.
Beaver Brae won the final set 15-7.
The Junior Girls Basketball championship is on the go right now between Dryden and Fort Frances.
