Former Dryden gunsmith Bruce Montague will be a free man later today. (Tuesday)
Montague is being released from jail after spending four months in the District facility in Thunder Bay.
He has received early parole and his wife Donna says it will be a relief to have him home.
Last March, the Ontario Court of Appeal upheld Montague’s conviction on 26-firearm related charges.
The 3-member panel also upheld his 18 month jail term.
The Montague’s will be facing a civil forfeiture trial over the May long weekend.
